The problem
Most founders and marketers write their own copy. They're not copywriters: they're product people, growth people, solo builders. When their landing pages don't convert, they run A/B tests on button colors, change their headline three times, and never actually know what's wrong with the message. The feedback loop is broken: the copy fails, but the diagnosis never comes.
Why psycholinguistics
Conversion is a cognitive event. Before someone clicks, their brain has run a fast, mostly unconscious evaluation of your message: does this feel credible? Does it create urgency? Does it match the way I already think about this problem? These evaluations happen through language: specific word choices, sentence rhythm, framing, and emotional sequencing. Psycholinguistics is the field that studies how language and cognition interact. Copyboost applies that framework to marketing text: not to grade it, but to show exactly where the cognitive breakdown happens.
The methodology
The Copyboost diagnostic evaluates marketing text across six conversion axes derived from research in cognitive psychology and consumer behavior: Hook strength, Persuasion structure, Proof and credibility signals, Urgency mechanics, CTA clarity, and Readability. It also maps the text's emotional arc from pain identification to resolution, detects active cognitive biases (social proof, anchoring, loss aversion, reciprocity), and identifies the underlying persuasion framework the copy follows, or fails to follow.
The result is not a rewrite. It's a structured diagnosis: the same kind a senior conversion copywriter would produce after reading your text carefully, delivered in 60 seconds without the guesswork.

Copyboost is built and maintained by Samwane Abdallah a builder at the intersection of copywriting, cognitive science, and product development. The tool started as an internal checklist for auditing landing page copy and evolved into a full diagnostic system after realizing the checklist worked just as well for others as it did internally.
